Callanish Stone Circle, Isle of Lewis by Jonathan Wheeler
The Callanish Stone Circle is situated near the village of Callanish (Gaelic: Calanais) on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. It is thought that construction of the site took place between 2900 and 2600 BC, though it is possible there were earlier buildings before 3000 BC, which is approximately the same time as Stonhendge was built.
All of Jonathan's prints are printed on acid free paper, using pigmented inks that meet archival lightfast standards in terms of UV exposure. They come mounted on acid free white core board. All prints are signed by the artist.
