Dunnotter Castle by Jonathan Wheeler

The name Dunnottar stems from the Pictish word "Dun" which means hill fort or place of strength. The site on which Dunnotter Castle sits has been inhabited since Pictish times (5000 BC to 700 AD) although an exact date is not known. Dunnotter is a ruined castle and is located on a rocky headland on the north-east coast of Scotland with the surviving buildings being largely from the 15th and 16th centuries.

All of Jonathan's prints are printed on acid free paper, using pigmented inks that meet archival lightfast standards in terms of UV exposure.  They come mounted on acid free white core board.  All prints are signed by the artist.
